Committtees & Meetings

General Membership Meetings

Meets monthly for CoC Members to learn about activities of the CoC and its members.

HMIS/Data Committee

Meets monthly to refine polices and procedures for HMIS implementation, and reviews data quality and system outcomes.

Membership recruitment & Public Education Committee

Meets monthly to develop plans to outreach to the full diversity of stakeholders, including persons/organizations that are not currently members. Develops strategies to raise awareness and educates the public on topics pertaining to  homelessness.

 

Strategic Plan task force

Meets as needed to update the CoC's annual plan(s) including strategies for addressing gaps, challenges and opportunities.

Scoring & Review task force

Meets as needed to develop recommendations related to funds for which the CoC applies including how performance measures will be used.

coordinated entry committee

Meets monthly to assess the crisis response system for gaps in access, assessment, prioritization, and overall equity. Develops policies and procedures for Coordinated Entry.

By name list meeting

Meets monthly to discuss referral services for Rapid-Rehousing and Prevention funded programs in St. Johns County.

youth advisory board

A Board within the CoC comprised of transitional aged youth (18-24) with experience of homelessness and service utilization. Meets quarterly.

Veteran Committee

Meets monthly and is responsible for helping veterans to have a voice in ending homelessness. Advocates for and identifies the needs of veterans experiencing homelessness.

Youth Committee

Meets bi-monthly and is responsible for helping youth to have a voice in ending homelessness.  Works in union with the YAB (Youth Advisory Board). Advocates for and identifies the needs of youth experiencing homelessness aged 18-24.

Coordinated Entry Training

All St. Johns County Continuum of Care partner agencies are encouraged to attend.

Coordinated Entry is a process developed to ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access and are quickly identified, assessed for, referred, and connected to housing and assistance based on their strengths and needs.

This training will cover:
•    St. Johns County Coordinated Entry Process
•    Continuum of Care partner agencies role in Coordinated Entry Process
•    Coordinated Entry Process & HMIS
•    How to communicate Coordinated Entry Process to clients
